CIMB-Principal has a range of investment products that span the investment risk spectrum which can be tailored to the clients risk/return profile.

Equity Fund
Conservative - Stable Capital
This product is invested up to 35% in equities and between 65%-100% in cash, fixed interest securities and other liquid investments.

Its investment objectives are:-
To provide a relatively stable pattern of investment returns over shorter term periods (1-3 years);
To achieve over the medium term (3-5 years) investment returns of at least 3% p.a. more than the returns from monies placed on deposit with a bank; and
To avoid a negative investment return in any one year.

Moderate - Balanced
This product's exposure to the equity market can range between 30% - 70% with the balance in cash, fixed interest securities and other liquid investments.

Its investment objectives are:-
To outperform the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI over the medium term (eg.3-5 years); and at the same time
To minimise the possibility of negative returns over the short-term (1-3 years).

Aggressive - Equities
This product will be more than 70% invested in the Bursa Malaysia with the balance in cash, bonds, fixed interest securities and other liquid investments.

Its investment objectives are:-
To outperform the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI on a rolling one year basis; and at the same time
To minimise portfolio volatility over the short-term (1-3 years);
Investors should have investment horizons of at least five years to fully benefit from this strategy.

Syariah Fund
More than 70% of this product will be invested in an approved securities on the Bursa Malaysia (as per Securities Commission's Syariah Advisory Council's list) and the balance will be in cash, long and short term Islamic debt securities (including Guaranteed Murabahah Notes, Al-Bai' Bithaman Ajil and Sukuk Al-Ajara).

It's investment objectives are:-
To outperform the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Index on a rolling one year basis; and at the same time
To minimize portfolio volatility over the short term (1-3 years)
Investors should hold investment horizons of at least five years as this specialized fund tends to provide smoother returns over time.

Bond Fund
This product is invested in bonds and other fixed interest securities issued by the government, statutory authorities and corporations.

It aims to:-
Provide a relatively stable pattern of investment returns over short to medium term periods;
Achieve investment returns superior than the returns from fixed deposit placements over a medium term period;
Maintain capital preservation;
Provide conservative and low-risk returns on investment; and
Outperform returns from one-month fixed deposit rates on a rolling basis.

Cash Fund
This product invests mainly in cash deposits and short-term money market instruments. The cash fund aims to provide an avenue of liquidity within seven market days.

Its investment objectives are:-
To provide a stable income over short to long term periods;
To provide conservative and low-risk returns on investments;
To maintain capital protection; and
To outperform returns from one week interbank money market rates on a rolling basis.
